Silhouette of Two Ladies, Signed & Dated 1837. Books - Fiction The bronze has some lightA silhouette of good proportions of two ladies, signed 'L. Frost', and dated '1837'. The silhouette is finely done, depicting one lady reading whilst the other holds a pair of spectacles in front of a sewing basket and pair of scissors on the table. They are both wearing ornate bonnets and have dresses with full hooped skirts. This silhouette is an exact copy of a silhouette portrait by William Wellings (1766 96) held at the V & A Museum (Accession
