It's not too often I come across one of these double slates with the halves still attached and the perimeter wraps--which made them "silent"--still well attached all the way around

with some wear and aging to both the mirror and the wood as accurately documented in photos

And poignant. And poetic. And making the image feel very much an object and a resilient one at that. And by turns making this young girl feel resilient herself. A whole novel here for sure. 4 7 8" x 3 3 4". As found, tape holding well, just some roughness along the edges.
