We made it to above the tree-line across some of the vast dark timbered flats and throughout all of this there's a certain feeling that is hard for me to describe

It inspired me to create this painting

and the sound of air rushing through the distant forests

Growing up in the Midwest gave me a love for whitetail deer since I was a kid

Sunsets, cool air, wildlife, the sound of insects awakening I could dream about it forever. So many special memories and moments have been created for me around this time of day. It's a time when I like to be outdoors the most, regardless of the time of year. Inspired by a recent sunset I watched this past January, I wanted to depict everything I love about this time of day. A
