I imagine this elegant copper cigarette box set on a mahogany table in some richly appointed library or drawing room back in the day

It retains its original rich blue paint

8 1/2" long x 3" widest x 1 1/8" deep

And it really feels quite luxurious at about 7 3/4 inches tall--as much as a small modernist sculpture as a folk carving

But most exciting seems to have been the Priests of Pallas masked ball

Alas, this has yet to happen, but I did recently find a seller with a nice bunch of them all by a N. N. Jones, and I just went back to her for a few more. This one is Brassica campestris, also known as Wild Turnip.
