This species is best appreciated close up where you can see the texturing of the plant. This texture is mostly visual but gives an almost skin like appearance to it. In fact, these plants come from seeds of a Lizard Skin type. They will form clumps in time (some available plants are clumping already). Requires general cactus care. Sensitive to excessive sun.
