The wood has been worked, sanded, oiled and quenched with a proprietary oil based gloss film finish to resist moisture and scratches. This age old process of finishing wood is time consuming, but builds up a durable finish that accents the natural beauty and colors found within the wood. The tripod base is composed of three 1 2" raw steel bars that have
