Granted, it's an expensive card, and even though its prepared ability is powerful, the card itself is quite difficult to get into play

Descent into Avernus is a great example of a card that has that group hug feel by giving everyone Treasure tokens, but the card is really just there to kill everyone, which is more slug than hug
