(2025-10-02) An ability that triggers "whenever you earthbend" triggers immediately after the list of actions earthbend entails is complete, even if some or all of those actions were impossible, perhaps because an effect does not allow counters to be placed on creatures you control

whenever a dragon hits the battlefield it's immediately impactful

If not, I have some bad news: this set will be around for a long time because Wizards of the Coast has declared that cards in this set will be Standard legal for at least five years
