Sins effect repeating whenever it randomly targets a land opens it up for combo shenanigans in decks like Amulet Titan, but I dont believe that this card does its job efficiently enough to show up in Modern decks
Let's say you show up to a Modern tournament playing a $150 budget deck like 8 Whack
FINAL FANTASY V This is the first Universes Beyond set legal in all formats
These Job Select cards include White Mages Staff, an Artifact Equipment card costing one white and one mana of any color, which spawns a 1/1 Hero and attaches itself automatically, giving them +1/+1, the Cleric subtype, and giving the owner 1 life when they attack
Second point is, the card draws only 1 card and forces you to make a play out of the remaining 2 cards
A three mana 3/3 Reach is fine, and in the late game this boost is decent
