Theres some danger to an aggro deck that gets to play Thoughtcast and Thought Monitor though, as they wont be vulnerable to traditional interaction
And opponents are going to be wary about killing your commander due to the threat of you replaying it, transforming it, and getting even more emblems
Particularly as many of these franchises have card games of their own, which makes it feel like a strange decision for MTG to produce their own sets
The plan is for The List to change subtly from set to set, bringing in cards that might make sense with the set we're in, but it will mostly stay intact from set to set, meaning you all will get to learn what cards are in The List
