If it doesn't have that 1st edition logo, it's just plain old shadowless, indicating it's from the second shadowless print run
The Saint of Dusk is templated to be tough to remove in Commander, requiring board wipes or sorcery removal, or creature EtBs
Players can only place one card into their inkwell once per turn, so any ability that allows more ink to be accumulated, especially early in the game, is very useful
