2017 Vintners Blend Zinfandel Ravenswood Ravenswood Winery Most of that extra intensityThe grapes for the Ravenswood Vintners Blend Zinfandel come from selected vineyards and growing areas throughout California. All grapes are fermented on the mash with their natural yeasts for eight to ten days, then the wines are carefully drawn off, the mash is pressed, all wines (first runs, press wines from the various grape varieties) are blended to form the Vintner's Blend, which is then left to mature for around 14 months in French oak barrels
