The partially hexagonal crystals are mostly completely black and exhibit an attractive star shaped luster on the crystal faces, reminiscent of trapiche crystals. This very large hibonite has everything that makes this find special: a beautiful hexagonal crystal with star reflections on the end faces and a distinct layered structure. A top notch piece!
