Kotis lets you effectively escape creatures each turn, whule buffing Kotis up in the process

In addition to the wrath spells and indestructible creatures, there are about a dozen mana acceleration spells to help you start using your wrath effects quickly (mostly green spells to fetch your other lands, as many of the mana acceleration artifacts would die to your other spells)

I find with removal I generally want to spread myself out

Its cheap to cast and doesnt cost anything to trigger, so its one of the rare older artifacts that can still pull its weight today
